RESOLUTION No. 13/1998/NQ-CP of October 30, 1998 on the Government's October 1998 regular meeting On October 26 and 17, 1998, the Government held its October 1998 regular meeting to discuss and resolve major issues. It adopted the substantial content of the report on the situation of free migration, policies and solutions thereto in the coming period, which was presented by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; It heard the Minister-Head of the Government Commission for Organization and Personnel reporting on the draft Decree on the organization of apparatuses assisting the ministers, the heads of the ministerial-level agencies and the heads of the agencies attached to the Government in performing the State management functions; and the Minister-Director of the Government Office reporting on the comments gathered from the cabinet members on such draft Decree; It heard the Head of the Government Cipher Commission reporting on the content of the draft Ordinance on Cipher, and the Minister-Director of the Government Office reporting on the comments gathered from the cabinet members on such draft Ordinance. It heard the State Inspector General reporting on the inspection, settlement of complaints and denunciations in the third quarter of 1998; It heard the Minister of Planning and Investment reporting on the situation of implementation of the plan in October and the first ten months of 1998. Over the past ten months, the economic activities have been struck by numerous difficulties. Still, with great efforts, we may achieve the targets set for the agricultural and industrial production.- (Summary)
